STANDARD MAKE UP OF HURRICANE RESISTANT GLAZING:

1/4” (6mm) HEAT STRENGTHENED (HS) glass + 0.090” (2.3mm) PVB interlayer + 1/4”
(6mm) HEAT STRENGTHENED (HS) glass = 9/16" (14.3mm)

Our hurricane resistant glass meets the following U.S. and International building codes/ standards:

SFBC  - South Florida Building Code
SBCCI - Southern Building Code Congress International
ASTM  - American Society for Testing and Materials
ICC      - International Code Council
TDI      - Texas Department of Insurance

We use the following SAFLEX interlayers, which are approved by the
following Dade County notice of acceptance numbers (NOA):

• Saflex interlayer Number 03-0421,02 clear or colors

• Saflex HP interlayer Number 03-0421,01 clear

• Vanceva Composite interlayer Number 03-0415,13 clear or colors

• Solutia interlayer Number 03-0827,08

Load resistance: Tested on 54” X 54” (137,2cm X 137,2cm) with 4-sided support:
220 psf (pounds per square foot) [= 1,074 kg/ square meter]

Options available:
• Clear glass
